Sometimes, you just can’t beat face to face training. iDEC smartphone video can be delivered in two ways: as a classroom-based in-person course or as live online webinars. In both cases, our tutors will take you through the iDEC pillars of individual, director, editor, and camera person.
The courses cover the basics of camera work, how to shoot general views, how to edit montages, and how to tell stories with sequences. The length of the course depends on which iDEC Level you choose. There are one-day, two-day, and three-day courses available. The two-day course can be taken consecutively or with a break between sessions. A third day can also be added, where students will learn about interviews, advanced audio, and lighting.
Whichever format you choose, you’ll learn the skills you need to create compelling video content with your smartphone.
It’s something I’d always wished I’d be able to do but didn’t think I would. Can’t quite believe I have learnt as many new skills as I have. I feel very confident in my ability to now create video content.
